The Contrast series from Kosta Boda is manufactured using a technique called centrifugation. The technique, invented in Sweden’s Kingdom of Crystal in the 1950s, creates veils of color inside the glass mass. In combination with the color powder and sticks added during the process, each piece becomes unique. The white/white vase is beautiful on its own, and even more so with your favorite flowers.

About the Designer:
An experimental and minimalistic stylist, Anna Ehrners work is distinguished by simple yet powerful shapes and an ability to achieve colourful displays using colour in subtle ways. Veils of colour inside the glass have become something of Anna Ehrners trademark, as have the lofty different coloured stalks that are characteristic of her art glass. She is also the originator of best-selling collections such as our Line glasses and the Contrast series of bowls.
