From the beloved children’s books by Tove Jansson (1914-2001).
The S mug shows Emma the stage rat watching the strange behavior of the guests from her hiding place. The noble lion, made from old bed cover, is chasing Mymble along the stage. Also, the floor is so sloping that the dishes are nailed to the floor and herefore broken. Emma watches the oddities and resents such activities.
