Creating indirect light accompanied by a subtle “halo” effect on the ceiling, Nur, designed by Ernesto Gismondi, is a system for the metamorphosis of light. Nur has an Aluminum molded body, polycarbonate lower diffuser, upper cap is transparent borosilicate glass.

Available in 7 colors, 3 sizes and 2 bulb types.

Mini: 11″ h; max 100W E26/A19 LED (not included) or 26.9W 3000K >93 CRI LED integrated light source. Dimmable.

Classic: 16 15/16″ h; max 150W E26/A19 LED (not included) or 44W 3000K >93 CRI LED integrated light source. Dimmable.

The father of Artemide, Ernesto Gismondi propelled his involvement in the Memphis Design movement into profoundly revolutionizing the field of lighting design in both Italy and the world. Born on Christmas Day, Gismondi began his career as an Aeronautical Engineer. Bringing industrial concepts, materials and finishes into lighting designs for both domestic and public space underlines Gismondis adherence to meaningful innovation. Recognizing his international contributions to the field of lighting manufacture, he was awarded a Compasso dOro lifetime achievement award in 1995.
