Carved from white Morwad marble, the Stone collection is a play on the original Tom Dixon Stone Spice Grinder. The Pendant light comprises a halo hollowed from the marble with a central “floating” ball in the form of a brass tipped bulb. Cut to the thinnest possible depth, the stone appears semi-transluscent, emphasizing its patterned surface. The hard, semi-precious surface of marble has transfixed architects, sculptors and designers for millenia. With individual personality, marble is the dream material – tough yet tactile, heavy and long-lasting.
